Emerging Leaders Task Force
Prepared by: Kim Scott, ELTF Past Secretary
What Do We Do?
The Emerging Leaders Task Force (ELTF) mandate is to stimulate participation by next-generation market researchers in the MRIA, and to work with the MRIA to develop programming and communications that is aligned with the needs of today’s young leaders and to enhance all of the MRIA’s existing touch points.
The ELTF has a national vision, linking with the MRIA corporate office as well as chapters across Canada and other MRIA committees.
The ELTF aims to attract keen young researchers to the market research profession, support the professional development of young researchers, and contribute to the ongoing development of market research as a thriving industry in Canada. We conduct grassroots outreach events to students, organize networking and educational events for students and young professionals, and share our voice with other councils and committees within the MRIA. We also operate the Emerging Leaders blog on the MRIA website.
