Skilled at both Customer Experience (CX) and Voice of the Customer (VOC) research, you’re able to identify ways to evolve, innovate, and improve how consumers experience brands and products.

    You’re both a strategist with strong analytical skills, and a communicator with the ability to turn detailed qualitative and quantitative data into clear and concise messaging for a variety of audiences.     Smart, Savvy + Associates has partnered with award-winning employer, BCAA, in their search for a Manager, Market Research to lead the evolution of BCAA’s market research and insight capability. Responsible for managing all corporate and member research initiatives, you will play an integral role in the successful implementation of customer strategy and product and sales initiatives. You’ll also provide leadership and direction to the Market Research Analyst.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the evolution of BCAA’s market research and insight capability
    • Develop plans that support all business areas’ needs for customer and market research
    • Manage BCAA’s Voice of Customer/Member (VOC/VOM) platform (Qualtrics), ensuring internal adoption and satisfaction
    • Develop and advance BCAA’s understanding and practices in CX Research and Measurement
    • Create and monitor key brand health metrics
    • Build business cases for research initiatives and investment
    • Communicate insights with BCAA leadership and stakeholders, as appropriate
    • Collaborate with Manager, Database Marketing to:
    - perform integrated analysis
    - identify and propose solutions that support business growth and efficiency
    - highlight key customer trends for application across the organization
    - prioritize, create and present key analytics in a holistic manner (ex.   dashboards)
    • Collaborate closely with the Strategic Ventures team on new business exploration
    • Develop and implement a competitive insights program
    • May include participation on committees to drive and maintain best practices
    • Coach and develop a Market Research Analyst
    • Prioritize research initiatives according to overall business and strategic objectives
    • Identify, establish and manage relationships with strategic research partners, including negotiating proposals and crafting statements of work for quantitative or qualitative research

    Required Qualifications:

    • 12+ years of Market Research experience
    • 3+ years in a supervisory or management role
    • Expertise in Voice of Customer and/or CX research
    • Experience in developing research questionnaires and recommending methodologies to help uncover and understand customer and market behavior
    • Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency with either SAS or SPSS, and Microsoft Excel
    • Proven project management and prioritization skills
    • Proactive self-starter who is up to speed on the latest research methodologies and trends
    • Data-driven and solutions focused problem solver
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Research, or Applied Statistics
