As an epidemiologist specializing in the interaction between viruses and host immune systems, Dr. Csefalvay has been actively involved in the response to the 2014 West African Ebola virus outbreak, the 2016 Zika outbreak, and the 2018 Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Throughout his work, he has championed the use of AI, machine learning and data-driven approaches to a diverse range of business problems, from public health crises through energy and utilities to manufacturing . He joined Starschema in 2018 as Principal Data Scientist after a successful career spanning both the private and public sectors.
