Welcome to the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association's (MRIA) Research Registration System. The System was initiated to provide an easy and accessible way for the public to verify a research call, inform themselves about the industry and/or register a complaint by calling 1-888-602-6742 ext. 8728

Service representatives will provide interested respondents with information about survey and polling practices, the principles by which research firms operate, and the important role research plays in developing Canadian products and services.

Comments about registered research projects will be recorded and MRIA representatives will mediate to resolve complaints. Respondents wishing to register a complaint about non-registered research will be given the information they need to contact their local telephone company, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) and/or the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA).

The Registration System allows our industry to address some of the underlying motivations that have produced a number of serious regulatory threats over the years. These threats hold the potential to jeopardize the health of the entire research
